The Penthouse at One East Avenue continues to follow CDC guidelines and local/state government mandates. The Penthouse does not require proof of vaccination or masks at this time, in compliance with those local guidelines. For the Menard seminar, tables and seats will be separated at a safe distance. For those who choose, we suggest wearing a mask in high-traffic areas such as the lobby, restrooms, and lounge, however, this is not a requirement at the venue.

Nathan McLean, MCE, P.E.

Nathan is the Regional Sales Engineer based in our Syracuse office. He is responsible for business development, estimating and sales in both public and private projects. Prior to Menard, McLean spent 15 years as a geotechnical consultant on a variety of transportation and building projects throughout the eastern portion of the United States. A native of Syracuse, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarkson University and Masters of Civil Engineering focusing on Geotechnical Engineering from Norwich University.

Miranda Slomkowski

Miranda leads the sales charge as the Regional Sales Manager for the Pittsburgh and Syracuse offices She is responsible for business development, estimates and sales. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and has played a key role in developing some of Menard’s most recent projects in the Steel City and Upstate New York.

Jordan Medich

Jordan serves as Project Manager for Menard projects covering the Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Ohio and New York regions. An experienced upper level manager with a marketing background, Jordan is a former college basketball player who graduated from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.

Nina Carney, P.E.

Nina Carney is the lead Senior Design Engineer for this region. She has a B.S. in physics from Allegheny College, a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.  Ms. Carney has worked at Menard USA for over 6 years as a design engineer. Prior to her position at Menard, she worked as an environmental and geotechnical engineer at various consulting firms.  Nina specializes in the design of various ground improvement techniques, as well as provides construction support to aid in the safe execution of projects with the highest degree of quality. Ms. Carney is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Pennsylvania and nine other states.

Pat Hanagan 

Pat is a Senior Project Engineer for the Pittsburgh Region. Pat has been with Menard for four-plus years. During this time, he has assisted on projects for the region from estimating to engineering on site. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a BE in Civil Engineering.

Jason Griffin, P.G. 

Jason brings his unique experience as a Professional Geologist in specialized geotechnical design and construction to his role as Vice President. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta with a BS in Geology and Kent State University with an MS in Engineering Geology. Jason is also a member of several associations, including the American Society for Civil Engineers.
